Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Arrive Delhi. Meeting and assistance on arrival at Delhi international airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: In Delhi

Breakfast at hotel. Morning proceed for a guided city tour of Old Delhi visiting Jumma Masjid, Red fort ( Closed on Mondays) . Enjoy the rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk. Later visit Raj Ghat – the crimination site of Mahatma Gandhi ( Father of the nation). Drive Past India Gate , Parliament house and President house.

Afternoon visit the Humayun’s tomb and Qutab Minar. Evening visit the Sikh temple and Birla Temple. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Delhi – Samode - Jaipur by Surface, 260 Kms / 6 Hours Drive

Breakfast at hotel. Morning proceed by surface to Jaipur enroute visiting Samode Palace. Lunch at Samode Palace. After lunch proceed by surface to Jaipur. On arrival in Jaipur check in at hotel. Evening Panoramic tour . Enjoy the rickshaw ride in the old walled city. Later visit Birla Temple for the evening to witness the evening prayer ceremony. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: In Jaipur

Breakfast at hotel. Morning proceed for a guided excursion to Amber fort enroute photo stop at Hawa Mahal ( Palace of winds). On arrival at Amber fort enjoy elephant back ride from the parking till the main gate of the fort. After the sightseeing return back by 4 X 4 Non ac jeeps from the fort till the parking area.

Afternoon proceed for a guided city tour visiting the City palace and Observatory. Evening enjoy the walk through the local market in the old City. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Jaipur – Abhaneri – Fatehpur Sikri- Agra by surface – 260 Kms / 6 Hours drive

Breakfast at hotel. Morning proceed by surface to Agra enroute visiting the famous Abhaneri Step Wells and Fatehpur Sirki.

Abhaneri was named as Abha Nagri, which means the city of brightness, but due to mispronunciation of the term, it is changed to the present name. In the present day, this city of brightness is in ruins; still it attracts tourists from across the globe. Abhaneri is prominent for 'Baoris', which are the unique invention of the natives for harvesting rain water. Amongst the other step wells, Chand Baori is the most popular one. This colossal step well is located in front of the Harshat Mata Temple. Chand Baori is one of India's deepest and largest step wells.

The huge tank with delicate carvings certainly is delightful to the eyes. Later proceed for by surface to Agra en-route visiting deserted town of Fatehpur Sikri.. Fatehpur Sikri bears exceptional testimony to the Mughal civilization at the end of the 16th century. It offers a unique example of architectural ensembles of very high quality constructed between 1571 and 1585.

Its form and layout strongly influenced the evolution of Indian town planning, notably at Shahjahanabad (Old Delhi). On arrival in Agra check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06: In Agra

Breakfast at hotel. Morning proceed for a guided tour of Taj Mahal (Closed on Fridays) and Mother Teresa Ashram. Afternoon proceed for a guided tour of Agra fort and Itmaduduallah. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07/ Agra – Delhi by surface 204 Kms / 5 Hours drive + Leave Delhi

Breakfast at hotel. Morning proceed by surface to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi in time transfer to Delhi International airport to board flight back home. Airport check in time 03 hours prior to the departure time of the flight.

Day 07: Agra – Jhansi by Train ( Shatabdi express D: 0815 Hrs / A:1040 Hrs) + Jhansi- Orchha – Khajuraho by surface.

Breakfast at hotel. Morning in time transfer to Agra Cantt railway station to board train Shatabdi Express to Jhansi. Meeting and assistance on arrival at Jhansi railway Station and proceed by Khajuraho en- route visiting Orchha temples. On arrival in Khajuraho checkin at hotel. Evening aarti ceremony at Shiva Temple. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08:. Khajuraho – Varanasi by flight.

Breakfast at hotel. Morning guided temple tour . After sightseeing in time transfer to Khajuraho airport to board flight to Varanasi. Meeting and assistance on arrival at Varanasi airport and transfer to hotel.

Evening Tour on Ganges- In the evening visit Mother India Temple- a unique temple dedicated to Mother India carved with a single piece of marble. The perfect map of undivided India signifies unity in diversity. From here proceed to the Ghats to witness the Aarti Ceremony (Hindu ritual /prayer of river Ganges at Sunset) on bicycle rickshaws. Passing through the crowded bazaars and galis (old part) of this ancient city, small shops illuminated with beautiful lights followed by a short boat ride on Ganges observe the Aarti ceremony amidst jingling of bells, floating of diyas (traditional lamps) and chanting of mantras give an unforgettable experience indescribable in words. Later return to the hotel with Rickshaws/your transport. Overnight at hotel

Day 09: Varanasi – Delhi by Evening flight.

Early Morning Boat Ride on River Ganges The western banks of Ganges have a string of 84 Ghats (the chain of stone steps) and interestingly each of them has a story to relate. Most of these Ghats built with pavilions, palaces and terraces are mainly used as Dharamsalas (a home for the pilgrims during their visit to the holy city) The sunrise on the Ganges popularly know as Subeh Banaras is a soul-lifting experience.

At dawn-the Ghats are abuzz with activity of the devotees performing their ablutions in the river or offering prayers to the rising sun and performing other religious rituals At Manikarnika Ghat- Cremation is a continuous process (photography prohibited) A boat ride from the dasaswamedh ghat along the Ghats gives you vantage views of these activity. After the boat cruise on the Ganges through the narrow lanes visiting the Gyanwapi Mosque and the Vishwanath temple popularly know as the Golden Temple (entry restricted to Hindus only) On return breakfast at hotel.

After the breakfast proceed for a guided tour of Sarnath . Later in time transfer to Varanasi airport to board flight to Delhi. Meeting and assistance on arrival at Delhi Domestic airport and in time transfer to Delhi international airport to board flight back home. Airport check in time 03 hours prior to the departure time of the flight.

Day 10: Leave Delhi

Kathmandu (capital): Situated at an altitude of 4500ft and founded in the eighth century include the Kathmandu valley of the three royal cities of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhadgaon. The green valley surrounded by hills or stairs crowned by snow-capped peaks covers an area of 218 square kilometers.

Kathmandu has always been a recognized center for Buddhism and art where the stupa of Swayambhunath, Bouddhanath and hundreds of Buddhist and Hindu temples representing theology, complex mixture of Hinduism and Buddhism in the legend and reality coexist side . Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: In Kathmandu

Breakfast at hotel. Breakfast. Morning visit the Durbar Square, Swayambhunath and Patan Durbar Square: The main square of city contains innumerable temples and other architectural gems such as Lion's Gate, Golden Gate, the statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, Dattatraya Temple, is a magnificent statue of King Bhupatindra Malla in the act of worship in a column facing the palace. It was listed by UNESCO World Heritage Site. Swayambhunath: The history of the Valley, according to legend, begins with Swayambhunath, or "self-existence."

This is the most glorious stupa of the Buddhist world. It is about 2000 years old. The stupa, which forms the main structure is made of brick and clay, high conical tower crowned by a pinnacle of copper gilt. Painted on the sides of four of the needle base are the eyes of Lord Buddha. It is three kilometers west of Kathmandu city and is situated on a hill about 77 meters above the valley.

This hill is a mosaic of small chaityas and pagodas. Swayambhunath is perhaps the best place to observe the religious harmony Budddhist and Hindus in Nepal. It offers an excellent view of the Kathmandu Valley. This is one of the cultural heritage sites of UNESCO in Nepal. Patan - This ancient city of Patan is situated on the south bank of the river Bagmati and is about five kilometers southeast of Kathmandu. Lalitpur, "City of Beauty" is another name for Patan.

The city is full of Hindu temples and Buddhist monuments exhibiting skillful carvings. Known for its craftsmen and metal workers, Patan is also known as the city of architecture and craftsmanship. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11: In Kathmandu

Breakfast at hotel. Breakfast at hotel. . Full day excursions visiting Pashupatinath, Bodhnath and Bhaktapur. Pashupatinath Temple, about five kilometers from Kathmandu, the famous temple of Pasupatinath recognized for its magnificent architecture, its two-tier golden roof and silver doors.

Thousands of devotees converge here in an annual pilgrimage on the occasion of Maha Shivratri, the night of Lord Shiva falls in the month of February. The entry into the temple precincts, only allowed for Hindus, but others can clearly see the temple and the rituals performed within the beings of the east bank of Bagmati river. The temple was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Monument in 1797.

Bouddhanath: The Boudhanath Stupa is eight kilometers east of Kathmandu. This colossal and ancient stupa, one of the largest in the world, with all the eyes of Lord Buddha. It has become the focal point of Tibetan Buddhism. Kana King Lichchhavi developer built it in the V century AD. It is built on an octagonal base, inserted in the design of Mandala with prayer wheels. This is one of the cultural heritage sites of UNESCO in Nepal.

The city of Bhaktapur (Bhadgaon): Bhaktpur means "city of devotees". Located about 14 kilometers east of Kathmandu, was founded in the ninth century by King Anand Dev. About 4000 meters above sea level, this city famous for its ceramics and textiles. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12: Flight Kathmandu - Delhi

Breakfast at hotel. Morning at leisure. Afternoon in time transfer to Kathmandu airport to board flight to Delhi. Meeting and assistance on arrival at Delhi international airport and in time transfer / assistance at airport to board flight back home. Airport check in time 03 Hours prior to the departure time of the flight.

Day 13: Leave Delhi
